Apex Party Rentals & Services rents event equipment in Gainesville, Ocala and the surrounding counties. To quote a job and deliver it we need to know who you are, where the event is, and how to reach you. This page explains what we collect, what we do with it, and what we will never do with it.

 

What we collect

Only what the job requires:

 

 

• Contact details — your name, email address and phone number, so we can send your quote and reach you about the delivery.

 

 

• Event details — the delivery address, dates and times, the type of event, and any access notes such as a gate code or where to set up.

 

 

• Order details — the items you rented, the price, and the payment status.

 

 

• Payment information — handled entirely by our payment processor. Card numbers are entered on their systems, not ours. We never see or store a full card number.

 

 

• Website usage — pages viewed and how you arrived, used to understand which of our pages are useful and which advertising is worth paying for.

 

 

 

How we use it

 

 

• To prepare and send your quote.

 

 

• To schedule, deliver, set up and collect your rental.

 

 

• To take payment and issue receipts.

 

 

• To contact you about your order — confirmations, delivery windows, weather changes, and questions either of us has.

 

 

• To meet our legal and tax obligations.

 

 

 

SMS and text messaging

 

We do not sell, rent or share mobile phone numbers, or consent to receive text messages, with any third party for marketing purposes. Numbers you give us for messaging are used only by Apex Party Rentals & Services to communicate with you about your own rental.

 

You give consent to be texted when you provide your mobile number while requesting a quote or placing an order, or when you ask us to text you. Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of renting from us.

 

Messages we may send are about your order, and include:

 

 

• Quote and reservation confirmations

 

 

• Delivery and pickup windows, and changes to them

 

 

• Payment links and receipts

 

 

• Replies to questions you send us

 

 

 

Message frequency varies with your order — most customers receive a handful of messages around the dates of their event. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.

 

To stop receiving texts, reply STOP to any message from us. You will get one confirmation that no further messages will be sent. Reply HELP for help, or call us on 352-871-9178. Opting out of texts does not cancel your rental, and we will still contact you by phone or email about your order.

 

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the services needed to run the rental, and only what each of them needs:

 

 

• Payment processing — to take card payments securely.

 

 

• Email and text delivery — to send your quotes, confirmations and receipts.

 

 

• Mapping — to validate a delivery address and calculate the distance for a delivery fee.

 

 

• Advertising and analytics — to measure which advertising leads to real bookings. Where we report a booking to an advertising platform, identifying details are cryptographically hashed before they are sent.

 

 

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

 

How long we keep it

Order and payment records are kept for as long as we are required to keep them for tax and accounting purposes. Quotes that never became bookings are kept so we can pick up the conversation if you come back to us. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, other than records we are obliged to retain.

 

Your choices

 

 

• Texts — reply STOP to any message.

 

 

• Email — use the unsubscribe link, or ask us. We will still email you about an order you have placed.

 

 

• Access, correction or deletion — email support@apexeventsco.com or call 352-871-9178 and we will deal with it.

 

 

 

Security

Access to customer records is limited to Apex staff who need it to do their job, and is protected by individual accounts and passwords. Information is transmitted over encrypted connections. No system is perfect, and we will tell you promptly if something happens that affects your information.

 

Children

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13, and will delete it if we discover we have.

 

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version appears here with a new date at the top. Material changes affecting how we contact you will be communicated directly.
